2D to 3D Conversion:

2D to 3D conversion is the process of transforming 2D ("flat") drawing to 3D model. 2D drawing represents sketch on paper. Which gives a dimensional drawings with different different view angle, how product or model look like. From this 2D data we will convert into 3D model using CAD software. The process of making 3D model from 2D data is called 3D Modeling.

Design For Manufacturing:

Design for manufacturability (DFM) is the general engineering practice of designing products in such a way that they are easy to manufacture. The concept exists in almost all engineering disciplines, but the implementation differs widely depending on the manufacturing technology. DFM is useful for reduce product cost and material cost by simplifying, optimizing, and refining the product design. DFM needs to be done in early stage of design process, Well before tooling has begun.
